Kent, or Shunta Morgan as he’s best known, is a rare breed of human these days, he can actually take the piss out of himself and have a laugh. (He got the name Shunta at the Redwood Cricket Club where his dad Murray or Bumpa as he’s known, belonged to)

One of the many humorous things he enjoys doing is posing nude with stunning scenic back drops mostly in his home province of Marlborough in New Zealand.

His pics are non offensive, done in good taste and always taken from the rear view although he said, “I try to do it tactfully, never done it front on or not yet anyway. The money would have to be right for that.”

The pics he’s done are hilarious. He once ordered a metre long pizza, called the ‘Limo’ from Pizza Hutt. When he got home from a night out a bit the worse for ware, he stripped off and got his wife Samantha to take a pic with him almost totally covered by the giant pizza.

SUNNY SIDE UP Nothing like a Limo pizza naked

Despite the size of the pizza, Kent managed to down the whole thing and with a side of chips. He’s done nude shots at various iconic Marlborough venues including the Snout at Picton, the Awatere Bridge, the old Opawa Bridge before it got converted into a walking/cycling bridge. Mt Vernon on the Wither hills another favourite place.

Two or three things I know for sure, and one is that I'd rather go naked than wear the coat the world has made for me.

WHALE WATCH Admiring the view over Cook Strait

Kent is very careful setting up and taking the shots, usually picking times of the day or early evening when few people are around and he has a spy watching out for anyone coming and possibly being shocked.

He’s not afraid to take on challenges including dressing up in women’s clothes and recounted a time as a youngster at his nana’s place.

“As a young fella I used to dress up in my grandmothers clothes and go out and mow her lawns. A bit embarrassing when an old neighbour came over a starting chatting to me as though I was my grandmother.”

He also frocked up when he appeared in TV on the Game of Two Halves alongside Marc Ellis and Mike King. He admitted he was pretty nervous before that show. “I drank five cans of Fosters in nine minutes to take the edge off the nerves before the audition.”

Kent admits he’s got a couple of ideas in mind for his next nude shots but preferred to keep them secret at this stage.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground and Old Trafford in Manchester are two grounds he’d love to set something up at and the Wellington Zoo in the Lions enclosure.

Not so long ago he ate a tin of cat food after losing a bet and said, “It wasn’t the worst thing I’ve eaten.”

Back in 2014 he won a brand new Kia Cerato Car on the Paul Henry breakfast show when he answered the quiz questions correctly.

Kent’s seven year-old son Edison thinks his dad’s antics are a laugh and wife Samantha is a little more subdued about it but at present is his official photographer. He said he would never do anything to take the Mickey out of anyone else he’s quite happy to do that to himself.

Nothing planned in the next couple of week’s Kent said with unfavourable weather conditions in Marlborough. “The rig’s a bit sloppy at the moment, it’s been a hell of a winter.”

JUMPING FOR JOY Bungy jump time and as always Kent is suitably attired

Back in the day Kent was a talented sportsman, playing cricket for the Celtic, Redwood, Renwick and Wairau Valley Cricket Clubs and soccer as a goalie for the Redwood Pirates, Central Pirates and Island Bay when he lived in Wellington. These days he enjoys working out at the gym.

It wasn’t anywhere near a perfect performance from the All Blacks in Melbourne last Saturday but it was far too good for the struggling Wallabies and the final 38-7 scoreline accurately reflected the superiority
