Wallabies/Argentina Rugby Test Review

Taniela Tupou - one of Australia's key players

Former Australian under 21 rugby player and ex Australian Schoolboys coach Michael Broad joins us to review the Wallabies v Argentina clash last weekend.

The Wallabies won very well, coming from behind at halftime to win 41-26 despite losing inspirational captain Michael Hooper in the lead-up. Hooper withdrew from the team stating he was not in the rugby frame of mind to continue, a courageous decision from a great player.

He’s a good kid, trains hard, and works hard. I’d love to be able to see him find some rhythm and consistency in games and then show everyone what a world-class talent he is - Will Genia on Jordan Petia

Argentina were formidable opponents especially at home so this win will install great confidence in the Dave Rennie coached side and no doubt the Aussies will be eagerly awaiting this year’s Bledisloe Cup battles with more confidence than usual, especially given the All Blacks current struggles.

Nic White love or hate him you have to admire his playing ability

He recently signed a one-year contract extension, but Wallabies halfback Nic White has made it clear he is not even close to the end of his career, with eyes firmly set on playing for Australia against the British and Irish Lions in 2025.
